Long Reach Excavations was hired to perform a dredging job at our lake house on Lake Jackson in Covington , GA , in March 2006. They were hired to come in and 1) clean up and 2) finish a job that had been started and botched up by another local company. We have a retention pond which has been neglected for years . The pond had filled with water and many small Willow trees . We had received an estimate to remove the trees and silt , but since the work proposed was to be done manually it was beyond our budget . One homeowner suggested that we contact Long Reach Excavations to obtain an estimate for this work .
